The backstory so far …
In another world, on the shores of a mystical ocean in a land known to its inhabitants as Arboreborn, a fishingcat cub of the species Prionailurus viverrinus was born. It had a crimson fur and short, shimmering wings. Therefore, its parents named him Nathaniel Crimson. But his friends always called him Nate, and they still do.
His mother, Lysara, a majestic fishing cat with silver fur, and his father, Aurelion, a celestial being, accompanied him on his first steps and taught him the secrets of the sea and the air. At the age of 11, Lysara gifted him a harpoon adorned with intricate carvings. He still keeps it to this day.
However, the peaceful life Nate knew was abruptly interrupted when a sinister war threatened the harmony of his homeland. Violent storms swept over the sea, and dark clouds obscured the sky. Amidst the chaos and destruction, Nate's father opened a portal with the help of a celestial artifact. Nate was able to flee to our world and find safety, but the fate of his parents and his homeland remains uncertain.
Nate found refuge at a picturesque lakeside, surrounded by wood and blooming nature. Here, he discovered a cozy spot far from the noise and bustle of the city. He is intimately connected with nature and spends his days exploring the secrets of the forest and relishing the gentle breeze that sweeps over the lake.
His passion for catching and consuming fish knows no bounds. Nate's anatomy, with webbed paws, a magnificent tail fin that moves like a sail in the sea breeze, and short wings that may not allow him to fly but can momentarily keep him above water, endows him with a skillful hunting technique both underwater and in the air.
Nate's abilities extend far beyond mere instinct. He knows how to use primitive tools to craft hunting instruments. However, his old harpoon holds a special place in his heart and is carefully cherished.
Although Nate is reluctant to visit the city, he occasionally makes the trip to meet his few friends. Despite his cheerful nature, Nate is often melancholic and contemplative. He misses his family and his old home and ponders how he can return one day.

The fursuit was crafted by Myrion (Instagram, Telegram) in 2023. Currently, only the head and handpaws exist, but it is being gradually expanded and completed into a fullbody suit.
